EMDR Consultation

If you have completed your EMDR basic training, congratulations! Basic Training is a powerful first step in using EMDR in your practice. However, EMDR is an ever-expanding methodology that can be artfully integrated with other methods and skillfully customized with the right guidance. If you are looking for a deeper understanding of EMDR or are working towards EMDRIA Certification, finding a trusted consultant is the next step.

In addition to deepening the understanding of concepts taught in Basic Training, Clara offers consultation that centers the following:

• Integrating polyvagal theory, IFS/parts work, and somatic work with EMDR

• Addressing and treating dissociation

• Treating early attachment wounding

• Understanding and treating complex presentations of PTSD

Rates

Cost for 1 hour of individual consultation ranges from $75-100. Lower range price is available for BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and clinicians working at community mental health agencies.

Consultation for EMDRIA Certification

EMDRIA requires 20 hours of consultation in order to be eligible for certification, 10 of which must be individual consultation. Per EMDRIA standards, Consultants-in-Training can provide up to 15 of the necessary 20 hours to obtain certification.
